In the event of extreme circumstances doctors may decide that a patient has to be sectioned under the Mental Health Act. This means that they will be admitted to an NHS facility, like an inpatient mental hospital, to receive treatment and care.
Bring a friend oder relative

They will pay to your appearance and the tone of your voice, since these can provide clues about the underlying feelings you're experiencing.
They'll be interested in knowing the severity of your illness that makes it difficult to take care of yourself and whether any other people are affected by these symptoms. They might also ask about your medication and how you're coping with it. They may suggest that you join a treatment programme or a psychiatric evaluation.
If they believe that you are at a high risk of harming you or others, they may suggest that you be admitted to hospital under Section 3 mental disorder assessment Health Act. Your care team should place you at the center of your mental health plan and involve you in all decisions about your treatment and support.
