Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient way to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robot vacs and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

They're also easy to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're up to.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking interface that includes a mini map of your home and a few on-screen buttons to allow manual control.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode based on dirt levels. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

It has a variety of other features that are smart also, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller without needing refilling it manually. You can also make use of voice commands using the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's one of many combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also offered at a lower price than other models.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your living space. The object detection is not perfect. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels and needed to turn to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart feature allows you to customize a number of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping system which utilizes a continuous roller filled with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It struggled with fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to an ongoing basis. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It provides clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It delivers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them with.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office tidy. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my small apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your area, so it knows where to stay away from. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.

It also comes with other standout features, including an automatic emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot mop vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a variety of features, including a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can move between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains quicker than other models we test.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller spaces. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it's possible to take a photo of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
