This model does an impressive job of taking on floor cleaning tasks hands-free from mopping to sweeping and even dusting. Its base station is a smaller than its competitors and requires 50cm space either side and 150cm front but for those with the room it can provide a completely hands-free clean.

The intelligent navigation technology of the X10 can track the layout and design of your home. It stores the data in its internal memory, without ever sending it to the cloud. Combining AI See with iPath laser mapping technology the X10 can efficiently remember room layouts and optimize cleaning routes for efficiency and thoroughness.

The X10's intelligent object recognition system also performs well it allows the amazon robot vacuum to easily identify and avoid hazards such as power cords. It can also be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery, which is a nice touch. However, I found that the X10 could be stuck on thicker rug, and then crash loudly over them and sometimes pushing its front brush into the rugs.

Overall it's a top 5 robot vacuum-quality robot vacuum and mop that's disappointed by a confusing app. Unlike the iRobot app, which holds your hand through the process of setting up your robot and instructing you how to use it, the Eufy Clean app leaves you to work things out on your own. It's still a great alternative but it also offers the possibility of customization for those who want to make the most of its features.

4. SwitchBot S10

It is also quite noisy during operation and might not be suitable for use in areas where silence is desired. However, it's an excellent value for its price. The SwitchBot S10 is an item that is unique in its class due to its sleek, contemporary design.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version combines a new Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush with an Advanced Position Sensitive Detector sensor (PSD) and a higher suction power to 3000Pa for better corner coverage.

Utilizing SLAM navigation and a user-friendly app using SLAM navigation, the K10 Plus cleans thoroughly and efficiently. The PSD sensor and the rotary brush work together to move around furniture. Its four-stage cleaning method consolidates, lifts, sweeps and vacuums to remove debris from carpets and floors. The dust bin automatically emptys itself so you don't have to worry about emptying it frequently.

The app can also be used to mark off areas of your home that you want the device to stay clear of such as pet toys or power cords. This is a common feature in most robotic vacuums and is useful if you have specific areas in the home that need more attention than others.

You can set up the K10 Plus so that it returns to its base station after 60, 75 or even 90 minutes to empty its garbage bin. This is a significant improvement over many other robots that have to be returned frequently and manually emptying the bin and emptied manually, which could save you time.

In my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life result. It lasted for 110 minutes in a single run. This is more than the iRobot Roomba Combo's time of 127 minutes.
