Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your house and organize cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and the amount of water your mop consumes.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These features are essential in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pets plants, small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock, and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very complete and robust product, with the only downside being that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot hoover auto vacuum and mop and mop is a high-end combination. The price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift long hair without knots. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank to mop and also dry mop pads. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. In addition, its mops aren't as adept at removing tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are bought separately will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best automatic vacuum and mop robot vacuum and mop you can purchase but its high cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your floors while cleaning up wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself which makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot, and it is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank holds a good amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map the space and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
