4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

The Dreame X40 Ultra robot vacuum and mop is the company's most recent flagship model. It has a few distinct features that the cheaper models don't. It is an impressive suction power and can mop floors easily. It also comes with a variety of advanced features, such as self-detangling roller brushes and auto-extending mop heads, that make it an excellent choice for hands-off cleaning. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are cleaned with hot water and drained, and the dirty water tank is automatically emptied after each cleaning session.

It has advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule. For example you can select the exact start and stop time for each cycle, or whether it should be able to vacuum carpets first before mopping. It is also able to be instructed to clean areas which are particularly dirty and choose to boost its suction power around litter boxes for cats as well as pet food bowls. It also has a sophisticated feature set that lets it switch between hard and rugs, effectively remove dirt and pet hair from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping capabilities, thanks to the internal dToF system. It is able to maintain an unobtrusive appearance while providing the Best robot vacuum uk in detection of objects. It drives close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also automatically raises its mop when it drives over rugs and short-pile carpets. It was a bit shaky when it encountered longer-pile carpets and also some thick, long messes with dried-on debris.

Like all robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to roll out of the box and only requires a quick initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. Once it's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined when needed.
