Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've ever thought of buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean in areas you don’t want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.
Its design is an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
Although it's not as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to know whether they're functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can remote vacuum cleaner and mop your home at the same time. These bots also have a variety of extra features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save some hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums often fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map, or change the labels of rooms.
If you select the Q5+ it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is simple. It also comes with an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people, but it's one that will assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot cleaner commercial vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the top in the market, but it's expensive.
It's a small base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of the house cleaning Robot. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, either, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price tag.
However, if you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models for significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive, but offers more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of creating robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to an electrical outlet and ample space for it to move but.
The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is a little more modest than other models, and features sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.
The way the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has similar battery life and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin that does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials such as cereal.
