Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house, set up cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping feature aids your robot mop navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and can lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pet toys plants, small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this model when you can justify its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot hoover and mop vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station has to be cleaned, and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will need to be changed periodically.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a want rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you do choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum however it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic manner. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot vacuum cleaners uk. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
