The S8 MaxV Ultra packs an energy-efficient battery of 5,200mAh and can run for up to 180 minutes before returning to the dock to recharge. The battery is automatically empty and cleaned at the end every run. This cuts down the charging time.

The Eufy X10 offers a wide range of features at an affordable cost. It can do everything you have a robot vacuum or mop to do, all at a reasonable price point.

This model can handle floor robot cleaning tasks with no assistance, including mopping, sweeping and dusting. The base station is a smaller than its competitors and requires 50cm of room either side and 150cm front but for those with enough space, it's able to provide a completely hands-free clean.

Its intelligent navigation technology can track the layout of your home, storing and utilizing the information within its own internal memory without ever transferring it to the cloud or another external source. The X10 can store the layout of rooms using iPath and AI See. It can also optimize cleaning routes to be efficient and thorough.

The X10's intelligent object recognition system works well it allows the robot to quickly identify and avoid dangers like power cords. It can even be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery, which is a nice feature. However, I discovered that the X10 may be stuck on thicker carpets, which can cause it to crash loudly over them, and sometimes pushing its front brush into them.

This is a great robo-vacuum and mop however, it's hampered by the jargon-filled app. As opposed to the iRobot app that guides you through the process of setting up your robot and teaches you how to use it however, the Eufy Clean app leaves you to figure things out on your own. It's a great option for those who wish to modify it.

4. SwitchBot S10

Unfortunately, the S10's battery life isn't as good as some of its rivals and may require an additional recharge if you have an extensive house. Additionally, it is quite loud when it is in use and might not be suitable for use in areas where silence is desired. It is a great price for the quality. The SwitchBot S10 is an item that stands out in its category because of its sleek, contemporary design.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version is a combination of an anti-tangle rubber brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor and upgraded suction power that can reach up to 3000Pa to offer superior corner coverage and overall cleaning.

The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation which is a simple application and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work in tandem to navigate furniture. Its four-stage cleaning method consolidates sweeps, lifts, and vacuums up debris from floors and carpets. The dust bin is self-emptying, so you don't have to be concerned about emptying it often.

The app also allows you to mark off areas of your home which you want the device to stay clear of like pets toys or power cords. This is a feature commonly found in robotic vacuums. It's helpful when certain areas of your house require more attention.

You can set up the K10 Plus so that it returns to its base station after 60, 75 or even 90 minutes in order to empty its garbage bin. This is an improvement over other robots that need to be returned frequently and manually emptied to save time.

In my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life result. It lasted for 110 minutes in one run that's more than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.

The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, making it easy to put under furniture or in tight spaces. It is connected via Wi-Fi and comes with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri shortcuts. It also works with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. It tracks the use of its accessories such as the filter, side brushes and dust bag, letting you know when it's time to replace them.
