robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst at Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His main focus is mopping robots and vacuum combinations. Multitaskers can be ideal for those who are looking to eliminate mopping from their list of tasks. They feature impressive mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance, and they can even wash and refill their own mopping pads for a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuums with mop vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It uses a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robot vacuum best vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery halfway through a clean.

It's extremely quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, hallways, and living room in one go. The suction motor's 8,000pa will quickly pick up sand, dirt, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as effective. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger objects such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum mop cleaner robot. It's easy to install and is effective however it's something you'll need to be aware of if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out your home, identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and methodically. This ensures a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively quick.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach an array of surface areas. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach spots. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be washed and dried to avoid build-up and lessen the smell.

Another notable feature is the customizable options available via apps. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the suction level and select an back-and-forth or random pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it will make, which will affect how fast the device will move through your home. You can also choose to disable the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

The device has a high price tag but is packed with a wide array of smart features. It is important to note that the device is subject to recurring expenses in the form mopping equipment and regular maintenance. For instance the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad needs to be replaced every three to six months.

This robot vacuum that mops has a high rating on Amazon and offers a wide range of physical automation features. This includes an energy button that can also function as a general 'Clean button as well as a Home button that sends it back to its base station once it has completed the cleaning process. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dries its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal option for busy professionals or anyone looking to keep their home tidy without spending too much time on chores. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean house with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is an all-in-one vacuum and mop. It can do both vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot has two modules: a combined dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping module with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of the way. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming however it does mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.

Our test participants discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature is its precise floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture rug, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option to set "No-Go zones" as well as virtual barriers, which can help to keep specific areas of your home from being swept with a mop.

We also found that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in picking up hair from pets. It was able capture many of the hair that sheds from our cats. It even got into some of the corners and crevices of our stairs, where other robots struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low, and there were some nice jingles to inform you that it was starting and working towards its goal.

The biggest flaws were its simplistic app and the necessity to switch out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app isn't able to hold multiple maps, which can be a pain if you have a home that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a excellent choice for those who are looking for a smart device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it has some distinctive features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its huge dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base comes with a few control buttons that allow you to manually begin a cleaning task, recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic hoovers vacuums, the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it gets entangled in a hazard like a power cable draped over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. Although this is not a common occurrence but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't have a "stuck" status alert on its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You will need to manually switch between the two, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

On the bright side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a big change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing view in a market that is dominated by bulky, boxy units.
