The only downside I found with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed) but it's a challenge to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot vacuums with mop passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can set up and manage these via the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track the battery's lifespan. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control on this model which is a pity considering the quality of its performance.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its clever design permits customised and efficient cleaning while also saving time.

The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.
