Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum with mop vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps, organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature can help your Robot vacuum cleaners best navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial for my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and auto vacuum and mop, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
In addition in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mops I tested. Additionally the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads which are bought separately are required to be replaced periodically too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot vacuum cleaners best that can be bought at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is dense, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its less expensive competitors.
