Both the Q5 and the Q7 Max Series get very high scores on our bare floor tests They're also particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. However, they do have a few flaws however, which prevent them from being our top choice. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is that its navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's also prone to get stuck on shoes and socks and could not navigate through rooms with a lot of people efficiently during our tests. It also doesn't come with a camera that would let it see the corners of an area.

It's still a good deal particularly if your home or office has lots of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save some money. Plus, it's very quiet and you can use it while you're at work or school. The only thing it's missing that you don't get in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. It's also less effective at mopping. With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competitors' compact models This mop and robot vacuum is among the most attractive designs in our evaluations. The newest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It's also the sole robot vacuum or mop that scored a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is thanks to a combination modern sensors, including a restructured lighting system, a camera and multiple lasers. The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the line robot vacuum and mop. It comes with a variety of advanced features that will make you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning machine that is similar to Ecovacs' top-of-the-range X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. The smart robot makes use of an array of LIDAR and structured light to map out floor plans and identify obstacles, making it more efficient than its more expensive rivals. And it's highly self-sufficient with a full-featured application and a self-emptying, washable base.

The well-designed iRobot app guides you through an initial mapping exercise that collects information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you mark on the map. You can use it to create cleaning schedules, plan the perfect spot for cleaning or prioritise your dirtiest rooms for better performance. The app also gives access to a host of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom maps, and advanced settings for your cleaning.

Its shape is more rectangular than most other best rated robot vacuum vacuums, which means it can get to corners and underneath furniture better. It features a powerful 8000 Pascal suction as well as sophisticated combs that remove pet hair. You can also create a spot-cleaner that thoroughly cleans a specific area.
