The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your home and organize cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or other toys. These features are vital for my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and auto vacuum and mop cleaner, so it is naturally with a host of features. It can mop and sweep in a single session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot hoover and mop vac we've tested. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition the mops aren't adept at removing tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately will need to be changed periodically.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot vacuum reviews that offers many functions at a affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like the other Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
