Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be converted from a single stroller to double strollers by adding the second seat (sold separately) or glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be set up into a triple-travel system with the addition of a bench or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the highest-rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is one of the easiest to adjust and works well for parents of all sizes. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment button to allow you to place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, however we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers to be a bit difficult to use since they must be removed completely and reattached every time you use it.
Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is comfortable for sandals and barefoot and a step up from the awkward brake levers that some competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with a single child and a baby due. It can be used to fit the majority of infant car seats from major brands using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good option for families who already have car seats, but are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller in this case.
