It also couldn't take on dirt that had dried up.

Its app is basic and lacks features such as multiple cleaning modes and automated scheduling. It does support Alexa, but its voice controls aren't particularly precise or responsive. And it's also a little flaky when it comes to getting back to the charging station after running -- other robots can trace a previous path or even follow a wall until they get to their destination however the RX3 simply bumbles around until it gives up and sends a message of failure to your phone.

Another issue we had was with its intelligent features, particularly the mapping function and the digital keep-out zones. It was effective in keeping our furniture legs and shoes away however it could easily get caught on socks, cables, and rugs.
