This model does an excellent job of taking on floor cleaning tasks without hands from mopping to sweeping and even dusting. The base station is a little larger than some rivals and requires 50cm space either side and 150cm front however for those with the room it's able to provide the complete hands-free cleaning.

Its smart navigation technology can follow the arrangement of your home, while storing and utilizing the data in its internal memory, without ever having to transfer it to the cloud or another external source. Combining AI See with iPath laser mapping technology, the X10 is able to efficiently remember room layouts and optimize cleaning routes to ensure efficiency and thoroughness.

The X10's intelligent vacuum cleaner object recognition system also works well and allows the robot to quickly identify and avoid hazards like power cords. It can be programmed to clean and replenish the battery on its own, which is an excellent feature. However, I found that the X10 could get stuck on some thicker rug, and then crash loudly over them and sometimes pushing its front brush into them.

Overall, this is a top-notch robot vacuum and mop that's disappointing due to a confusing app. Eufy Clean's application isn't as user-friendly as the iRobot App, which guides you through the process of setting your robot up and teaches you how to use it. It's a great choice for those looking to customize the app to their preferences.

4. SwitchBot S10

Unfortunately, the S10's battery life is not as good as some of its competitors and might require an additional recharge if you have more space in your home. It is also very loud when in use, and therefore may not be suitable to use in locations where quiet is desired. It's a good value for the price. The SwitchBot S10 is sleek, modern design that makes it an outstanding model in its class.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version combines an anti-tangle rubber brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor, and upgraded suction power reaching up to 3000Pa to offer better corner coverage and overall cleaning.

The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation, a simple app and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work together to move around furniture. The four-stage cleaning process is a consolidated method that collects, lifts and sweeps debris from floors and carpets. The dust bin is self-emptying and you don't need to be concerned about emptying it often.

You can also mark the areas in the room you don't want the device to enter, such as power cords or pet toys. This is a common feature in most robotic vacuums and is useful if you have specific areas in the house that require more attention than others.

You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60, 75 or 90 minutes to automatically empty its trash bin. This is an improvement over other robots that need to be returned frequently and manually emptying the bin, which can save you time.

In my tests, I discovered that the K10 Plus' battery life was exceptional. It lasted for 110 minutes in one charge that's more than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.

The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, making it easy to put under furniture or tight spaces. It connects to Wi-Fi and has Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri shortcuts. It works with IFTTT Samsung SmartThings, Samsung SmartThings as well as IFTTT. The app tracks how often you use its accessories, such as the side brushes, filters and dust bag. This will inform you when it is time to replace them.
