Both robots excel at picking up surface debris off hard floors and carpets, and they are very good at maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart map of your home to aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean up efficiently. The i3+ doesn't feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or any other top rated robot Vacuum-rated robots that we test. It could be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as carpet and hardwood.

iRobot recommends clearing areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, and include putting away any toys or clutter it may encounter. Also, keep the filters and dust bin clean to prevent them from getting blocked. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and takes the dirt out of the docking station's external dustbin. It then continues cleaning where it left off. Battery life is about an hour-and-a-half of continuous usage. It takes about three hours to fully charge.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with all the latest features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. the most important feature of all -- it has an auto-emptying dustbin, which eliminates one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba I7+ can map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and remote control vacuum cleaner your robot using voice or via the app.

The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that eliminates the main sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and vacuum a particular area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to voice commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

It was able to remove most types of debris and sizes in our tests, and frequently went over the same area many times for an efficient clean. The flat front of the unit allows it to reach into corners and along the walls' edges and walls, which is a nice feature.
