Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle different flooring. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was able to locate the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single move. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic cleaner and mop mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
This robot vacuum reviews combo is easy to setup and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished as needed. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good and include a pair of mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuums with mop vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It is a great robotic cleaner and mop and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best rated robot vacuum mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a reliable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are excellent in removing dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every speck of dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen in this price range even though it's not able to clean your floors. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested that did not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The K10 Plus also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot is able to detect carpets, and increase suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
