Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a special item upgrades that can make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is utilized. The equipment being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot that can accept the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above the specified level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from karma merchants or traded with other players on the Trading Post or salvaged from equipment, or acquired as rewards in games.

A variety of upgrade components are available, each of which offers various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used on any kind of equipment. They also offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on legendary and non-amulet items, while enrichments are able to be used on back equipment that is ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, however doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the Best item upgrade.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in their primary stats. It also comes with up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs that are available to you. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item upgrader you are looking for and each weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.

You can level up Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a area is, the more Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it is able to be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has reached the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and will also increase the number of nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled.

Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process of creating an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you want. This can be done in order increase your level faster, or to get better loot such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. A lot of players will repeat the roll until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of ability. This can be because they like the character's design or their personality.

When you reroll, you have to make sure that the changes you are making are safe. You should check locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev test. The patch should be uploaded with a clear difference to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls may take a few days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. To speed up the process avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. Also, avoid repeating quests that can be completed later on in the game. This will save time and energy.

When you reroll, it is essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are several ways to enhance your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.

Rerolling isn't necessary, but it is an option to increase your chances of getting a certain character or weapon. It could be beneficial when you're trying to find the most effective character in the game or if you're looking to try different builds and play styles.

Sets

A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used to perform operations such as intersection, union and difference.

Upgrades make a set better than it was before. This means that the weapon and armor will have a higher defense value and lower strength requirements.

Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items into the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.

Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff, are already exceptional in their own way and don't require any upgrades. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may benefit from an upgrade to increase their stats. For such items, it could be worth the extra cost to upp them.
