Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle a variety of flooring. Look for models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean up stairs.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or rug.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option to meet your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum cleaner best vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when required.

This robot has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled when needed. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty impressive, and comes with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as required. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as they are required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It is able to move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop settings as well as look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for live video surveillance. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to get every last particle of dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.

Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 has the most impressive mopping and vacuum mop cleaner robot performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an automatic vacuum and mop robot emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic hoover water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.

The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also stores dust in a larger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpg
