The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbing. Its navigation system performed well. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station comes with an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It is also able to reach into the corners of my small apartment. It uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not poop) unlike other vacuums.

It has other great highlights, such as the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.

Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to reduce time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot vacuum that vacuums and mops is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It comes with a variety of features, including self-emptying dustbins, a separate water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't remove knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
