Best robot vacuum uk Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an app that can save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my house filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session and even lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with an automatic vacuum cleaner mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this model when you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot cleaner vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself, making it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is dense, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that this device maps or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpgThis device has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot to get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
