The Best Robot automatic vacuum and mop robot That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.

He tests and evaluates cleaning appliances, focusing on mopping and robot vacuum combos. Multitaskers are a great choice for those who want to get mopping off their to-do list. Some of them have excellent mapping capabilities and obstacles avoidance. Some wash and refill mopping pads themselves to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThis is the model you should pick if you are looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers one of my top navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery halfway through a clean.

It's extremely fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and droppings easily. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects carpets and the double side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as effective. The mop rotates quickly and makes use of 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when you're trying to get into narrow corners or on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger pieces of debris, such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've tried. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is simple to install, and it works well. However when you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map your home and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and methodically. This leads to an effective, consistent cleaning which is also relatively quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach many surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach places. The side brush can be stretched out to extend to the floor, close to the walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be cleaned and dried to avoid build-up and lessen the odors.

App-based customization is another notable feature. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the intensity of its suction and select between a back-andforth, or a more randomized pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it must make, which will determine how quickly the device can move around your home. You can also disable the side brush in order to avoid damaging carpets and rug.

This device is expensive however it has many useful features. However, it's important to remember that it carries recurring costs in the form of mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance, the brushroll will need to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter will need to be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad must be replaced every one to three months.

The robot vacuum mop has a high Amazon rating and comes with an array of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has an power button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a Home button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically emptys the dustbin, refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a busy professional or someone who wants an organized home that doesn't require hours doing chores, the Shark Matrix Plus is a solid option. Its powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and long battery life allow you to maintain a clean house with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is an all-in-one mop and vacuum. It can do both mopping and vacuuming. The robot has two modules: a dry bin and water reservoir, and a separate mopping module with a microfiber pad that snaps in and out of place. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean that you don't need to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

Our testers discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app also offers the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to protect certain areas of your home from being swept with mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair of pets. It was able to collect an enormous amount of hair that our cats shed and even was able to get into the nooks and crannys of our stairs, where other robots struggled. It was quiet and had some pleasant jingles that signalled when it was beginning or finishing its work.

The app was too basic and you had to switch the modules each time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which can be a pain when you live in a house that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who are looking for a smart device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. It does however, have certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base comes with a couple of buttons for control that let you manually begin a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto vacuum and mop-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic hoovers vacuums, uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it is entangled in an obstacle, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. This was a rare occurrence however, it was a bit frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a major contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing sight in a space that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
