Claire, our tester, was impressed with the packaging. It was simple to open and clean. She found it to be one of the most simple and quick pieces of baby equipment to put together. She tried it on some rough terrain and was impressed with its performance.
Seats
The majority of triple buggies are initially single pushchairs. However, some can convert to take a second seat or carrycot by converting adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). There are also models let you add a ride-on board for older children who want to walk but require some assistance.
Take a look at the Joie Evalite Duo for a lightweight option perfect for city streets. It's easy to maneuver and comes with a large basket with lots of storage. It can hold twins from birth and accommodate two car seats as well as an infant carrycot and seat. The seats must face toward the forward direction and there isn't space for bags of groceries under the seat. You will need a sidepack.
If you like to go off-road and off-road, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a good choice. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. It is easier to get through narrow doors, on public transport and to climb over and over kerbs. It also has a handbrake that is attached to the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.

The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most popular on the market. This is due to their superb comfort. It is a true all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension that makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating options as well as a built-in table for older children who like walking, and a "cinema' mode which raises the back seats for better visibility.
Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from day 1 that can then easily adapt to take 2 (or 3 wheel stroller and car seat!) in various configurations. This is especially useful if you have a baby in your car. The frame can be adapted to a wedgie, which allows for optimal lie-flat positioning. Also, car seat adapters that can be used with various brands.
Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a triple buggy is crucial to how it will be easy for you and your child to push. A smooth ride is crucial as babies can feel every bump in the road, especially if it's on rough terrain such as grass or dirt roads. Certain models also have front wheels that lock to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.
Some models come with air-filled tyres, which give you a great all-terrain experience, but they can be prone to punctures so make sure you have spares in the trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres, which are designed to take the bumps and are less prone to punctures, but you might find them to be a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back if you decide to run.

It's also designed to be able to handle a little rough terrain making it a good choice for family walks or all-terrain strolls.
Other models like the UPPAbaby Vista 2 offer plenty of space, and the ability to accommodate twins or a toddler and a baby (it takes their 'PiggyBack' board make this possible). It's the smallest side-byside double on the market. It also features amazing technology, like LED lights for visibility that are placed on both sides of its frame to increase safety in low-light situations.

The frame's clever design expands widthways to accommodate the additional seat but it still only weighs in at around 11kg, which makes it easy to lift and manoeuvre. It can be used with an infant car seat, a carrycot or both. This lets you get the best of all worlds.
