This is the model to choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best robotic mop and vacuum navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.

It's extremely efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor is quick at picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the dual side brushes help draw out debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into difficult corners or along baseboards. The front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping, and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to install and works well however this is something you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it a great choice for homeowners looking to purchase a highly effective, versatile and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device has a powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and locate furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and effectively. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning and is also rapid.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad is capable of reaching many surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other difficult to reach areas. They also come with a stretchy side brush that can be extended to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads can be dried and washed to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce the odors.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a professional with a lot of work or just want an organized home that doesn't require much time doing chores then the Shark Matrix Plus is a good choice. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation, and long battery life make it simple to maintain a clean house with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one mop and vacuum. It is capable of mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two parts which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping unit that includes a microfiber pad. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping however it does mean you don't have to fret about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its best feature was its accurate floorplan, which it uses to create an outline for cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app also offers the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to keep certain areas of your house from being swept with mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair of pets. It was able to capture a large amount of hair that shed by our cats and even was able to get into the nooks and crevices of our stairs while other robots struggled. It was quiet and had some nice jingles that signalled when it was beginning or finished its work.

The app was too easy and you had to alter the modules each time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app doesn't have the capacity to store multiple maps, which could be a hassle for homes that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want an intelligent robot vacuums with mop that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a cleaning sink, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning job, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in recognizing objects.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. Although this is not a common occurrence but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni does not have a "stuck" status alert on its app.

Another potential downside is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during the cleaning process. You will need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't an issue apart from the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
