Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent option for flat dwellers, because it takes the trash away in its own bin and uses the docking station that is smaller. Its app allows you to set different modes and monitor the cleanliness, plus the mopping function is impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance and mopping capabilities are impressive. It can pick up pet hair, spills, and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans, and refills its tank.

Roomba Combo from iRobot

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite able to compete with our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an app that is easier to use on mobile devices however it makes for a strong alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems like LiDAR and structured light, but it still manages to prevent most collisions.

The Combo includes many of the same smarts that the j7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor for determining the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation, however it doesn't have the ability to set suction power by hand. It's also a little less compact than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have an auto-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The clean, matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's small features--like a leather tab that can open the bin on the board and a shelf within the dock that can hold additional bags--are more classy than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market, it's already made a name for itself because of its innovative cleaning techniques. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors clean. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options allow you to fine-tune the cleaning schedule of the bot to your particular home.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to see objects lower than its height. This is particularly useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best automatic vacuum cleaner in its class when it comes to navigation, thanks to vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs are often seen to crash into furniture and slam into pet faeces and faeces with no awareness but the Qrevo Master solves this problem with a Reactive AI system that makes use of twin cameras to discern objects in the room.

Roborock robots have a variety of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. They include docks that can be automatically empty and mop-washing stations that have many functions. Its navigation is top-notch it can navigate around furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lowering itself up steps. The robot is programmable with a variety of settings, including cleaning schedules as well as the rooms it will clean. It has an 'emergency button' that will force the robot to return home when its power goes out. It can also be set to turn off automatically if an approaching storm is detected.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, despite being heavy at almost 4kg, it's hardly difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. It also moves at a a slower pace to prevent damage to furniture and walls.

You can also view the map of your home within the app. You can also mark areas and objects that you would like the vacuum to stay away from. Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RV3 is an elegant, feature-packed vacuum/mop. It does an excellent job of keeping floors tidy and clean. It's not able to lift its mop to clean carpets and rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good at cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a superior level of suction, a variety of mopping options, and a premium app that works both on iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than the other models and its main brush is shorter but it still managed an impressive job in our test room. The edge brush that revolves on the side is a nice addition. While it didn't remove dirt as well as other competitors, it performed well.

Cleaning parameters can be set up for each room, and the device will create detailed maps of rooms with built-in LiDAR navigation. The app is easy to use and offers a variety of options for voice output that can keep you updated on the condition of your robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and increase the performance. The application can be used to remotely control the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
