World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
item upgrading - www.google.com.pk, allows players to increase an item's gear score up to 700, and then add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example an excellently broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth it.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a unit. This bonus may be more than the damage that a weapon upgrade alone can cause.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity as well as its current level. For example, an +2 weapon will require two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade item a weapon will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgraded weapons can also alter their base stats. This is usually a good thing, but it can also have negative effects. For items that are only used in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance) upgrading them could render them useless unless you get a fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their performance. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms it will boost its defense base while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it could roll back to a lower number.
The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain upon upgrading, along with the relative value of those stats. This means that the weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will strike three times less, since it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button within the item menu with the arrows that circle. The item upgrades will be rerolled and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level or connect to the status of your account.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make all the difference to your survival. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, which can make the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the greater defense your character has the more value you get out of each point of health you have therefore it is important to upgrade your armor as often as you can.
To upgrade your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all and each one requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed your main quest and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each level will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a large group of enemies in the majority of cold environments, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a handful of friends.
You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior, you should focus on upgrading your armor for physical strength or spell power. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
You can also unlock some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have a few upgrades of the helmets and chest armor that allow you to stealth around some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, provide an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five types of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, increasing the effectiveness of their effects. Alternatively the effects of certain potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust to the potions.
Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP. These can be earned by making them on a crafting table or in the chest of the Alchemist. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion used and the item's rarity and Mark Level.
To upgrade item a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI in which you can select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not degrade until you use it again, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to rename it.
There were a few updates to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for example are now available with a time of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds shown on the item hover display. The table for potion is now made of four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the potion and refills the bottle.
Lastly, there are now lingering potions, which are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone. The table of potions is rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added like the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a small and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but isn't important, like a thimble. In some cultures, a trinket can be used to express affection or friendship between family members.
In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets, unlike other items that can be upgraded can be swapped at will without losing stats.
Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a brand new trinket. You can upgrade a trinket with as little 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the previous trinket but will also have an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
Once the old Trinkets have become no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value with time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.
Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment they will not replace in the near future (such as rings or cloaks). When choosing which items to upgrade, players should take into account the class's preferred stats. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for tank players and they want to upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.
Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they no longer have value and the new trinket will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade can ruin the previous trinket, unless it is salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying new ones.
