We found it was easy to clean using a simple wipe down and there were a variety of additional items available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that fit onto handles and hoods that provide UV50and protection.

We love the way that it is so compact when folded, and that it is able to fit easily into small spaces such as shops narrow alleyways, and Jane's tiny terrace house It's also easy to move up and down the stairs. The bumper bar doubles as a carry handle, and there's a large, flip-flop friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than the other models, but it will still accommodate a large changing bag. There are also tray compartments for storing snacks, drinks and toys.

It's suitable from birth and can be paired with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). The clever backrest can be flattened to allow for long walks or naps. The 5-point harness with magnets makes it simple to use. It's also super light at just 6.6kg and includes an extra bag for travel.

Joie Evalite Duo

British brand Joie is committed to "sharing joy with new parents" and has created pushchairs that are "functional, innovative and stylish". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to accommodate two children at a time unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that allows both children to see the world.

The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is among the lightest strollers for siblings available. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to drive, ride, lift and fold, and the clever frame expands in width to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is the highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were amazed by how fast and easily it is put together. They did note that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces in comparison to other models.

They also point out that the front seat can't fully recline, and they needed to utilize their hands to bring it to a comfortable position which they would prefer not to be forced to do when traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that is a great choice with a few tweaks. They are impressed by how compact it is when folded.

iCandy Peach

This is an excellent double stroller If you are looking for something elegant and adaptable. You can use it as a single double stroller pram from birth and then buy a double stroller with car seat kit to turn it into a twin stroller. It also has a huge basket and 5 reclining positions to provide maximum comfort for your child. It also has an integrated carry strap and a one-handed folding mechanism. The only downside is that it could be somewhat heavy to carry around when you aren't using it particularly since it folds in two parts rather than one.

iCandy Orange

This is among the most comfortable twin buggies on the market. The seats are able to be fitted with footmuffs and liners to keep your children warm during cold weather. The carrycot is easy to attach by using the gate-opening side flaps. It is large and comfortable. It can also be used with a buggy board, which will help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!

Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first pram company to focus on double all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller can be easily maneuvered around narrow shopping aisles and through the doors. It is among the smallest and most feature-packed double buggies that are available and has been awarded numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.

The seats are narrow enough for children of various age groups to be able to sit comfortably and the seats are independently adjustable, allowing children to choose their preferred position. The large canopies feature solar visors that flip out and the storage basket offers plenty of space. It is compatible with two infant car seats when you buy of adapters for car seats and works with nearly all brands that are available, which is a huge plus.

The only downside is the weight. It is hefty at 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift into and out of the trunk for Grandma. It is also more expensive than other side-by-side double buggies. Bugaboo Donkey Twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a elegant and practical design. It's a quality product, but not without flaws.

It's got very little in the way of additional conveniences for the parents and their children. There's a tiny side bin beside the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached and that's the only feature it provides. There aren't any cups, tray for parents or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.

The seats aren't able to recline to a very flat position and the gap between them is quite wide and our 5-year-old had trouble lying back comfortably. It's a shame, considering it's a high-end model.

On the bright side, it's a easy to maneuver and the swivel wheels work well at getting up slopes and steps. It is also narrow enough to fit in the majority of doorways and folds up easily for storage and transportation. It can be switched back to mono mode in just three clicks, if you need more space or a quick escape. It can even accommodate a third child using the comfort wheeled board if you need to. It is expensive though so if you're on a budget there are alternatives out there. It's worth it if you're a fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
