World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that is ending in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to give a stat bonus or extra effect when they're used. These can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment with a slot for them; the item must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it's used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item using fewer Upgrade crystals than they would need to reach the same level with normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can modify the attack or defense characteristics of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them in the cash shop, or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know how much it will be improved following a reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be expensive and it is likely that the item will be obsolete, or even break, if the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes within the area around them as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible up to 15 levels.

In the final game you'll find that the most effective way to upgrade your equipment is to use Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded up to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph with the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the numerous Glyphs and there are some rare glyphs to be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrader to put Glyphs in the most important locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their most critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items allows players to improve the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components inside them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item upgrader has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires a different amount of components to be reached and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is upgraded.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade item the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player improves a piece of equipment the original item will be replaced by an item upgrader kit that is new. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This can be a downside since the item may become more expensive even if you do not require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do this. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, with the level 1 base, and a totally different set of extra bonuses. This is useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be repeated often, as it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled several times, increasing their value and giving players the ability to alter their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides buffs when the player is repeatedly in or leaves the water. This item can be upgraded many times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item upgrader kit is extremely useful in PvP battles, since an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The upgrader for items lets players increase the level of their equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and weapons) above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense of the base set, while upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Each when you upgrade an item, it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state, which will force the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned like chances to be crit damage to attack, additional effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded increases its crit chance that it will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. However, players will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require a different amount of the upgrade ingredients.
