Its base station is a slightly larger than other models and requires 50cm of room either side and 150cm front, but for those with the room it's able to provide an entirely hands-off clean.

However, I found that the X10 could get stuck on some thicker rug, and then crash loudly over them and occasionally pushing its front brush into them.

Overall, this is a top-notch robot vacuum and mop, but it's disappointed by a confusing application. Eufy Clean's application isn't as user-friendly as the iRobot App which walks you through the process of setting up your robot up and shows you how to use it. It's still a great choice but it also offers plenty of customizability for those that want to make the most of its capabilities.

The SwitchBot S10 is an item that stands out in its category because of its modern, sleek design.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an upgrade from the popular Mini robot vacuum. This latest version combines an anti-tangle rubber brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor and upgraded suction power that can reach up to 3000Pa to offer superior corner coverage and overall cleanliness.

The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation which is a simple application and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor and the rotary brush work together to move around furniture. The four-stage cleaning process consolidates, lifts and sweeps debris from floors and carpets. The dust bin will empty itself, so there's no need to empty it often.

The app also lets you to mark off areas of your home that you want the device to stay clear of like pet toys or power cords. This is a common feature in all robotic vacuums and is particularly useful when you have certain parts of the home that need more attention than others.

You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60 90, 75 or 60 minutes to automatically empty its trash bin. This is a significant improvement over many other robots that need to be returned regularly and manually empty, which can save you time.

In my tests, I found that the K10 Plus' battery life was outstanding. It lasted for 110 minutes on one run that's higher than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.
