Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture or other toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic hoovers vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've test.

It's a complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's pricey. The number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this automatic vacuum cleaner and mop when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed well across the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also excellent and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition it's not as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will need to be changed periodically.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself, making it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot and is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do select this option, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot hoover that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpgThe Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot vacuum best's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've crafted. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgLike all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
