Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of get a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart robot mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot broom (more resources) vacuum to date. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't wish to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop with your voice.

Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It even could capture sand and small gravel which other robots couldn't do. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

Although it's not as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs The j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell if the update is actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best rated robot vacuum option is probably hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also have many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barrier and no-go areas, alter your home map, or change the room's label.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place, emptying the bin can be accomplished with relative ease. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful when setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and intelligent vacuum cleaner. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates numerous tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require you to do this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tried that does a really good job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.

If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company has a proven track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for carpets and hard floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app guides you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock near a power outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, with sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers similar battery life and is more effective on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with the boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30, however is less expensive and is much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
