Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle various flooring. Look for models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.

Many of the best rated robot vacuum models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.

The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.

This robot combo is easy to install and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border within the application). Mopping capabilities are very good and include a pair of mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best robot vacuum that mops mops and robot vacuums.
