But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator is more, I'd expect better.

Aside from that blip the fridge is a great option. It has a large freezer compartment, which is uncommon in counter-depth French door fridges, and it holds a fair amount of frozen food in comparison to similar models.

The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment offers 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is about par for the size of a french door fridge good guys door fridge that costs this much. It comes with a decent size freezer in the left side. But, it's not the largest one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create custom storage setup for what you want to store. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS also looks attractive. The LED lighting adds an attractive accent. The bins for storage inside have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers come with temperature controls so you can set them to Beverage, Meat or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings to be a little hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you would expect from a refrigerator within this price range. This includes Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place in the globe. It also comes with many options for customization. It also alerts you when a door is left open, when your fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice it GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill the option that is that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to set the amount of cups they wish to dispense. It does offer a countdown on the fridge's display to display how much water have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and dual compressors to preserve food items. This fridge was rated the top in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed more than a fraction - this is essential to avoid freezing burn. Bosch has a reputation for high-end appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app lets you monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive, however it has top-quality features and functions for the price.

While the fridge is an amazing appliance but it's important to be aware of the limitations. It has a small space for shelves, so you may have to think creatively when it comes to storing large items. Additionally the shelves aren't completely sprillproof, and can easily be damaged or stained by sharp objects. The trays are easily removed from the fridge. However, they must be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great option for those who require lots of space within an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features a standard french door fridge freezer no plumbing door design, and two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded down to make space for tall items. You'll also find a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker making it easy to transfer the ice when needed. The freezer also comes with thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that help you sort your things. It also has a large container to store frozen food items, and a separate one for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. It lets you control the temperature of your fridge, lighting, and more from your smartphone. It's a nice way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't necessarily improve the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge as compared to other fridges we test. This is likely due to the larger capacity.

Another issue with this refrigerator is its doors. They have handles that are sunken on the front, which allow shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, however they're difficult for taller people to pull closed without slamming the doors. It would have been more effective if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good choice for those who want to combine the advantages of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the best french style fridge freezer counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it a desirable option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't break the bank, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It has a simple design that isn't as striking in appearance like some of the competitors however it comes with enough features to make it a solid pick. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you use the majority of your fridge's cooling power to the area so that you can keep food items that require extra attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge, though I've found that adjusting the general settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

In my tests, I found that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in various parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator didn't vary much from 38 degrees. This is a great performance, but it doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to an intelligent thermometer to get more precise measurements of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It does a great job of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing even when compared with glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
