robots that vacuum and mop (http://www.Kuniunet.com/)
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills, staining) in one time without the need to switch out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot should be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking is easy, and the quick-start guide gets you running in no time with the complete dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and also vacuums well. The mops are spun at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For instance, you can request the best robot cleaner to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are excellent too and the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models struggle with. The only issue it has is that it can hit objects and walls at full speed. However, an instant glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station features an LCD display that displays the time when maintenance is required for cleaning up debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time as well, with the mop being capable of running for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and easy to understand, though we would have liked to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. In contrast to the model of last year, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad, which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to remove fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners could overlook.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which helps to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive model I've tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek and angular design is striking and has just three physical buttons that include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock and a home button to return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin automatically refills.
The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for manual washing. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life and component maintenance. However, you'll have to go through a few hurdles to enable voice control on this model which is a pity considering how well it performs otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum cleaners reviews vacuum and mop with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its smart design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.
The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the most effective options available. This powerful vacuum cleans up dry debris, including pet hair and crumbs. It has a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without the need for a pad. In addition the X40 is extremely quiet during its operation, with only occasional bursts of sound when switching modes or performing self-maintenance tasks.
The X40 has a side brush that is able to be lifted and extended. This allows it to reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture that is curved like chairs and table legs. It also lets the robot vacuums best to reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it a great option for smaller apartments and condominiums with small spaces. The side brush automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that assists the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by repeated back-andforth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are restricted to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and skip carpeted areas, and vice versa. It can be controlled using the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is intuitive and easy to use and the X40's clever features are a breeze to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, change modes, look at maps and floor plans, and control mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to keep clean and has numerous features which make it a good choice for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, then refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It will also tell you the moment when the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has a number of characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, a new feature of its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mop is also cleaned and dried inside the base station after every use. This is a great feature as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours from building up in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen in other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.
There are many options, including the option to schedule cleanings and change preferences. These can be set via the app, or via direct buttons on the unit itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options for customizing the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are numerous features that other robots do not include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles instead of using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen in the market, with a white and metallic design that is elegant and stylish. It's a bit heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy either, and it feels sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is also well-designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
