Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle various floors. Look for models that allow you to choose between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it reached carpets or rug.

The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be empty, but this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished whenever needed. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good robot vacuum job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent with a pair of spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a wide margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris however, it's not able to be able to reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot vacuum that mops that vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't remove cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. The device also stores dust in a larger bin that means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The best robot vacuum cleaner and mop is able to detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpg
