Sage Coffee Machines

Sage coffee machines often include a built-in burr grinder with an easy grind amount dial that dispenses the ground beans directly into the portafilter. They also feature a low-pressure pre-infusion system and an extraction system with 9 bars which ensures a perfect espresso flavor.

Tamp the ground coffee well using the tamper. Then secure the group head before choosing the single or double shot. Steam the milk with the steam wand that is automatic and then enjoy your cafe-style coffee at your home.

Barista Express

The Barista Express is an espresso maker with top-quality that provides the cafe experience in your home. It's packed with features that can help users improve their skills. However, it also provides options to help novices make good shots quickly. It is a little more expensive than the other equipment we test, but it comes with a higher level of performance.

The machine features a thermocoil system that is quick to heat up and makes it easy to transition between brewing and steaming. It is one of the few machines that can make that perfect layer of steam-steamed milk for lattes, which can be difficult to achieve without lots of practice. This feature was important to us as we wanted a machine that would produce the rich, creamy cafe style of coffee machine for home we love. The Barista Express did achieve this, but took longer than other models we tested.

It comes with a massive tank that can hold 67 ounces. It is easy-to-refill and has an integrated water filter which eliminates impurities and keeps your coffee fresh. Another great feature is that the machine is easy to clean. It is recommended to remove the machine every 3 to 5 months to prevent the buildup of minerals on the internal components.

Like the other Breville machines we've tested, the Barista Express is designed for users who want to practice their skills. This means that it does not come with some of the more advanced features found in other Breville models, such as the ability to display the amount of water and pressure is being used, and an automatic milk frother. But this doesn't mean that the Barista Express isn't a great alternative for coffee lovers who are looking to upgrade their home espresso machine.

This model comes with 4 portafilter baskets, which include pressurized and non-pressurized versions. It also includes a high-quality tamper, which is easily stored inside the machine. The tamper is adjustable, so you can achieve the appropriate amount of pressure when making an extraction. It also has an infusion stage with low pressure, which can help to smooth out the grind and ensure a more consistent extraction at 9 bars of pressure.

Dual Boiler

This machine was created by Sage (or Breville in other countries) for those who desire cafe-quality espresso at home. It comes with a few features which set it apart from the rest of the market. It firstly, it has an in-built portafilter that is bottomless, which gives the espresso shot a beautiful appearance and lets you observe how much pre-infusion occurred. Furthermore, it comes with a manual button that keeps the machine in pre-infusion until you press the manual button again. This is an excellent feature that mimics the way baristas operate in cafes, and makes it easy to pull a great shot every time.

It also comes with an indicator for the pressure of steam, which is pretty cool, and the ability to adjust the pre-infusion power to suit different extraction time. This is a feature that isn't found on most domestic machines, but can make a huge difference in the consistency of your shots. It also has an easy-to-read water level indicator so you can tell when it's time to refill.

The most significant thing that distinguishes this model from other Sage alternatives is that it has the dual boiler system. This allows it to brew and steam simultaneously which is extremely useful when making milk-based drinks. It also has a PID which lets you control the brew temperatures that aren't available on other machines. The only downside is that this system costs more than one boiler or heat exchanger systems.

For instance, it can be programmed to turn off at a particular time, so that it's ready when you are. This is a really neat feature that isn't available on other machines and is a huge benefit for those who depend on their coffee machines cheap maker to help wake them up in the morning.

It also has an automatic standby mode as well as an auto shutdown which are both extremely useful features to improve energy efficiency. The auto shutoff feature is particularly beneficial, since it will shut off automatically after an hour of inactivity. This will reduce your electricity bill, while also extending the lifespan of the device.

Oracle

Sage coffee machines are designed to be used by the user, and this is evident from their range. They've realised that not everyone can face the challenges of barista-style espresso making. Therefore, their machines aim to automate as much of the process as possible whilst allowing the user to participate in the extraction and texturing of milk for cappuccino as well as latte art. Many of their models have built-in burr grinders or are compatible with stand alone models for the full bean-to-cup experience.

The Oracle is a good example of this. It includes the incredibly powerful Sage Dual Boiler at its base and makes use of it to make excellent quality espresso, but it also includes automatic dosing, tamping and milk texturing to eliminate the need for any level of barista skill. It also comes with additional features, such as programmable pouring settings and the triple heat system. The disadvantage is that it's one of the most expensive domestic coffee machines on the market.

If you're looking for a more affordable Sage machine then the Duo Temp Pro might be worth a look, it does not have the App based technology and pressure gauge of the Oracle but it's an excellent bean-to-cup machine. It has a large water tank and can be used with filter coffee as well as ground coffee. It also has steam wands and a digital guide display. Its heat up time of three seconds is quite impressive. Most commercial machines take much longer to reach the temperature required to extract.

The Sage Precision Brewer is the latest addition to their range of filter coffee machines. And even though it's at the high end of the price spectrum for a home-based coffee maker, it comes with a few special features that make it stand out from the rest of the competition. It has multiple fittings for the brew basket to allow you to use a variety of filters, and it has a removable inner cone that allows you to use a reusable filter. It has a handy clock to set it the night before to make a quick jug in the morning. The automatic milk texturing feature is an awesome feature as well that can be set to your preferences to make the perfect smooth or frothy coffee.

Duo Temp Pro

The Sage Duo Temp Pro is an excellent machine for those who want to prepare third wave specialty coffee at home. This espresso machine features a low-pressure technicolor pre-infusion system to ensure an even extraction and balanced flavors. It has a tamper, which makes it easier to apply the right amount of pressure when putting the coffee grounds into the portafilter. It also comes with a handy maintenance indicator that lets you know when it is time to clean your machine.

The Duo Temp Pro has a many great features that differentiate it from other espresso machines available. The automatic purge feature makes sure that the temperature of the water is kept consistent throughout the brewing process. The stainless steel tank is also constructed to last. It comes with a thermocoil heating system of 1600W that lets you get the best small coffee machine quality espresso every time.

The machine does not come with a built-in coffee maker. To get the most out of this machine it is recommended you use either a Sage Barista Touch grinder or an external one with a dose-control setting. It's not a self-cleaning. You will need to perform routine maintenance like decalcifying and washing. These tasks are simple and can take just 30 minutes. They are also necessary to maintain the machine.

The Duo Temp Pro is not intended for novices. It's not as user-friendly as fully automated machines, but it can produce an excellent cup of espresso If you follow the instructions. The brew valve sprays a small amount of water at lower pressure on the grinds before increasing the pressure. This can help fix any small mistakes made in tamping and grind size. This helps new users achieve a more balanced tasting cup.

The Duo Temp Pro also has steam wands that have a 1600 watt element. It can make a lot of milk that can be used to make cappuccinos or flat whites. It comes with a decent-sized steel milk container that is able to handle high temperatures for microfoam. The wand also has an adjustable dial that allows you complete control over the time of your steaming.
