In the past, Korea's scientific community has avoided engaging with the creationists in fear that doing so could boost the credibility of the group. Silence is no longer a viable option.

What is Evolution?

The theory of evolution is a scientific one that explains the change in genetic characteristics of living organisms over time. The theory is based on the fact that living organisms adapt to their surroundings, which can cause variations in genes or even complete genomes. The most popular theory of evolution is called natural selection, which describes the process that allows people with advantages survive and reproduce more frequently than those with less favorable characteristics.
