Broken Key Loop
One of my MK5 keysfobs broke off the little key ring on the top, where it attaches the keyfob. It's made of plastic or soft metal. I've made a hole in it, and then wet-sanded it to make it stronger but I'm guessing the problem isn't helped by this.
I've also attempted to wrap the broken ring with clear tape but that didn't seem much better. It's really too bad because I use the rings to hold my keys in place on the mini-split ring which holds the larger split ring for the other keyfobs.
