Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are becoming more capable. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can take care of a variety of floors. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and was able to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or carpets.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
This robot vacuum cleaners best has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot hoover and mop can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled as needed. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top mop and robot vacuum uk vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide space over obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for live video surveillance. But, you'll need a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The device also collects dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. This best robot vacuum that mops can detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.
