robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgBest Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to clean up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop with cutting-edge features you should look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish interface that includes a mini map of your house and some on-screen buttons for manual control.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

The mop roller has many other smart features, such as a dock that can be connected to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to control room cleaning modes and granular control using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-off robot hoover vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower cost than many of the competitors.

Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to get started, including creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.

It is important to note that the mapping process can take quite a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an appliance that can do it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. And its detachable stick automatic vacuum and mop robot is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum that mops vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping system that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without falling. However, it struggled with fine-grained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic hoovers vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin as well as dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you control all its functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which can be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces in order to avoid contamination.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they are cleaned.

6. S10

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

It also comes with other standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to save time. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities it is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice if you are seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features including a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains slightly quicker than other models in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It is also very good in removing pet hair from carpets.

It's smaller than the majority of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take photos of any object it finds (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not linked to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
