It is a top suction model and can mop hard floors with incredible ease. It comes with a variety of advanced features such as auto-extending mop head and self-detangling brush rollers. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are cleaned with hot water, and then drained and the drained water tank is automatically cleaned after every cleaning session.

It has some advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule, for example, selecting a time to start and end each cycle, or deciding if it should vacuum carpets before mopping. It can be programmed to re-clean areas that are dirty and to increase suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks on demand like cleaning the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. The S1 Pro's navigation and mapping capabilities are top-quality, with the internal dToF LiDAR system allows it to keep an unobtrusive appearance while delivering top-notch objects avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it can also raise its mop when it drives over rugs and short-pile carpets. It struggled a bit when it came across longer-pile carpets, and some long, thick mess of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to go out of the box, and it requires only just a few minutes of mapping to discover your home. Once that's done, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or combined depending on the need. You can set virtual boundaries, as well as no-go zones if there's something you don't want the robot to get into.
