Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills and stains) in one time without the need to switch out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer for its low cost, and it's one of the most simple robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide gets you running in no time. It comes with a full dust bag, water tank and robot vacuum cleaner reviews (this content) hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you choose the kind of cleaning you want for each room.
You could, for instance request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only drawback is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will show you exactly what the robot has done, where it is moving, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
A handy LCD screen on the docking station shows the maintenance tasks that need to be done like emptying the debris tray and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank in a controlled manner by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time, with the mop capable of running for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can also view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and is easy to comprehend, though we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum and mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and vacuum, is the most up-to-date version. This Roborock model, like the other two models I tested it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating dual cameras that can detect objects, determining if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its direction automatically and clean them without missing a step.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has just three physical buttons: the power button, that also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to bring the robot back to its dock. The only issue I have discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these features.
