However, it did struggle a little when encountering longer-pile carpets and several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to roll out of the box and only requires the initial mapping run to get it used to your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can join or add rooms as necessary.
