Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacuum and mop robot vacs and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum cleaner automatic vacuum and mop and mop that has cutting-edge features consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface with a miniature map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another standout characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has many other smart features, including docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's one of many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than other models.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping effortlessly.
It is important to remember that the mapping process can take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your living space. In addition, object detection can be hit or miss It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip its back to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional features that are smart. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart feature allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and put the debris in the self-sealing bag. This keeps the system clean, and stops allergens from circulating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously misting with water to capture dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing and staying clear of stairs. However, it had trouble with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise level is also very high, which means this model might not be as simple to set and forget as others.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers that are available. It provides impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors that lift the pads up when they are near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station functions as an automated maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins every time they are emptied.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office clean. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your home, so it knows where not to go. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to reduce time. It's an excellent option if you have a mix of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a good choice. It has a range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to take care of the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of getting around tight spots. It is also very good in removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than most of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take a photo of any object it picks up (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not as great at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
