The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using an app that can save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also has a mop lifter system that will lift the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed well throughout the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mops I tested. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. If you're looking to save money, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum and mop vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase however, its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself which makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot vacuum cleaners reviews, and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots that vacuum and mop. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is dense, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the autonomous vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
