The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgA mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.

The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, must be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy however, its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot, and it is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It must be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot vacuum that vacuums and mops brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is capable of cleaning robot mop and vacuum a large portion of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

This machine has one major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who automatic vacuum cleaner and mop frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
