Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house and organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture or other toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping, and dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I test, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy, Robotic Hoovers its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your floors while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to select this option, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing, but this may be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum, but it still has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot vacuums uk's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that are mapped by this device, or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot vacuum reviews. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
