Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save maps of your home, create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop uses.

A mapping feature aids your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are vital in my house that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a complete and robust product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as adept at removing tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, are required to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot cleaner robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot vacuum cleaners best, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot vacuum cleaner for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
